How does the process work?
When you post a news comment, it will appear immediately, or if the page has been recently cached within the next couple of minutes. However, if you post a news article you have to wait until it is approved for public viewing.
This typically takes less than 24 hours. You may edit your post up until the time it has been approved by a moderator.
News Submission Policy
News must have some usefulness to the abandonware community - spamming your site does not necessarily constitute news, you may also post abandonware related editorials, articles, tutorials or anything that may be of interest to the abandonware community.
If your article focus is on an external link, please provide context in the article that would still provide meaning and interest to the article if the link were suddenly inactive or removed.
Your article must be in English, we will tidy up your spelling and grammar to a point, but articles that are poorly written will likely be declined.
Please note that final discretion on whether to approve your article or not rests with DFL staff.

To add a site you have to enter the scene archive section, and click Submit a New site in the dark blue control area. You may then proceed to fill in all the fields to submit your new site. Please read the submission policy before submitting a site.
How do I revert a change someone has made?
You can't! Only the moderation team can revert changes other people have made - you can either contact a moderator or an administrator via the internal messaging system to get them to check the updates for you.
How do I get my article verified?
You must wait until a moderator approves your article, this may take anything up to a couple of weeks depending on the knowledge of the particular moderator - we try to research as much as possible to ensure our verified articles are accurate.
Scene Archive Submission Policy
A site must be abandonware related to be added to the scene archive, it is considered bad form and potentially bias to submit your own site. That being said you should use your first hand knowledge to help remove errors relating to one of your site_revisions.
When you submit a new site you are required to complete all forms, you may enter a small info/review area if you are not up to writing the complete thing, you can also write notes there and wait for another member to tidy up or improve your writings.
When you submit a site, if possible we would encourage you to add a few screenshots depicting the important pages in that site, including images of previous versions or related graphics.
