Da Fast Lane Abandonware Awards 2005/2006 are now finished! Thanks to everyone who voted and nominated sites - and everyone who watched the final ceremony!.
We've tried to cover every meaningful award category possible - and hopefully streamlined the process of voting. Now, everyone can anonymously nominate their favourite sites, they can nominate sites for as many, or as few, award categories as they like.
When the nominations phase is over, the top 4 sites/sceners with the most votes will be entered into the finals, in the event of a tie-break the site which recieved the number of votes first will be entered. From the nominations, visitors will be welcomed to vote on one of the four finalists from each category.
The finalist with the most votes will be the winner.

An official/recognised crew member may not vote for the site they are affiliated with, doing so will result in the removal of all that users nominations and in blatant cases (i.e. the lead webmaster of the site voting for him/herself) the disqualification of the site from all categories.
DFL is excluded from the awards, please do not nominate it. DFL Staff are permitted to vote on other categories.
You only have one vote, you may not change nominations or nominate sites in categories you left blank the first time. Once you have posted your nominations that's final. However, if you feel you have made a mistake in your submission you should contact a DFL administrator
Nomination results will be compared by an independant panel at the end of the nomination phase in order to allow for human-input variation.
By voting you agree to have your name displayed on the site to show you have submitted your nominations - your actual nominations will not be made public - it will just be made known that you have actually completed your nominations.
Your votes will remain anonymous, no personally identifiable information about you will be made public (including: username, e-mail, name, or IP address).
Vote information will be made public at the end of the awards - this vote information will have all personally identified information (such as IP address and username) removed from it.
The awards data / results will not be used for any commercial purpose and a meerly a means of recognition for sites and sceners.
